Garman was born in Berwyn, Ill and moved to Colorado Springs with his parents in 1972. He enlisted in the U.S Navy early in his adult life and served 4 years launching airplanes on the U.S.S Nimitz. Two years after being honorably discharged, he graduated from Olympic College in Washington State with a Business/Finance degree. Jeff is an avid sportsman. He enjoys riding dirt bikes, skiing, mountain biking, hunting, and fishing and spending time with his wife and two boys.
